Make Your Own Skateboard Ramps as a Neighborhood Project |

Skateboard ramps add a great challenge to skateboarding, but if there isn't a skateboarding park near you, what can you do to improvise some skateboarding ramps for you? Well, you can make your own, or you can buy parts that help you make your own using lumber from the local home improvement store. You can get skateboard ramp plans online that will show you how to build them, and they are really not all that difficult to build. If you have a circular saw, you can build your own skateboard ramps, using nothing more than the saw, a hammer, some nails, and the skateboard ramp plans.
They are fun to build, and last a long time. Building skateboarding ramps can be a neighborhood project, too. If there are others that you know in your neighborhood who skateboard, maybe you could get together and make plans to make some skateboarding ramps as a group, pooling your money, talent, time, and skills to make some challenging ramps to use in the neighborhood. You could use the ramps in a driveway or a backyard, and store them in a corner of a backyard. |
