Many skateboarders find the joy and challenge of riding on skateboard ramps exhilarating, and if you happen to live in a neighborhood with other skateboarders, you guys should think about getting together and learning how to build skateboard ramps. You can find plans to build them on the Internet, and when you make your own, you can design them to be as easy or difficult as your skill levels dictate. Maybe one of you has a dad with a shop in the garage that could be used to make the skateboard ramps. Making skateboard ramps isn't rocket science.
There just aren't all that many skateboard parks out there, but if you could set up your skateboard ramps in someone's driveway or backyard, you could have some serious fun, challenging yourself and others by learning new skills and tricks for skateboarding. It's a lot cheaper to build your own ramps than it is to buy them, so if you all chip together to buy the materials, the ramps won't cost each of you all that much. That is sure to make your parents happy. |
